★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I were joining this club about a year ago. My friend started before me because I was away on vacation. When we first met with them, they said that all skill levels are welcome but in the end they lied.
The Sunday kickboxing level one class was anything but level one. Even when the coach saw my friend struggling he didn't touch base and speak with her. She ended up leaving the class half way thru and never went back. I don't know if the coach didn't care or if he just didn't notice but either way its a disgusting way to treat patrons. While I appreciate that all skill levels might join a level one class the coach should treat the class as though it is a level one and when they see someone struggling touch base with them and work with them to help them build up the same skill level as the group.
I am writing this review now because I saw they were advertising and felt I should warn anyone who is thinking about trying out this club. Very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Gym, very clean, lots of mats and space. We booked a private lesson and everyone had a great time kickboxing. Our instructor Al was awesome! We all want to come back again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I started at scheers 4 years ago with a week long boot camp and instantly fell in love. Everyone is so kind and welcoming from the front desk people to the instructors. They never make anyone who is new to martial arts feel un welcome or in-capable! It’s a safe space to be with so much to learn, professional, kind, clean, with very talented staff. I don’t know anyone who’s went to Scheers and didn’t like it. I highly recommend this to literally anyone whose interested in picking up a new skill, young or old, I started when I was 11! I was taught by both Dan and Corey and they are both absolutely excellent and super talented as well as kind and patient! Highly recommend Scheers!:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've trained BJJ at Scheer's for the last 3 years. Love the gym, great instruction, great guys to roll with. I was a little leery about starting up again after Covid but they have taken it very serious. I feel safe with the measures they have implemented. Definitely recommend it.

The instructors are all very knowledgeable as well as students (who are more than willing to help new students) that have been there for an extended amount of time. Also, If you need to put a hold on a membership at any time they are more than understanding to accommodate your needs. Thanks for the great experience, SMA!!

When I was in the class the instructor made sure I was paired with an experienced person and everyone I rolled with was very good about teaching me. I felt welcome and always look forward to the next class. They also have different membership styles to suit your work schedule.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've trained all over the world, training at different gyms is always a pleasure. My experience visiting Scheer's was awesome! The facility is amazing, a cage seperate areas for multiple classes, an amazing strength and conditioning area. I dropped in for the no gi class, big class with different levels that were all being accomadated to. I came with my brother in law who had zero experience in martial arts and I myself have fought professionally. We both enjoyed and benefited from the class equally and that should tell you alot. Instructors and students extremely friendly and good training partners. Everyone is technical and controlled. Can't say enough good things about the place. Just check them out and find out for yourself.
