By limiting the number of projects we take on we are able to provide the same level of attention and detail to every home we build in Calgary. We work with a key group of trusted and experienced team of trades on all of our projects to maintain a high level of quality.
Our services include land acquisition, existing home sales, architectural design, interior design, permitting, landscaping, financing and construction.

Leadership
Saville Homes is led by principal and founder, Sheldon Appave. Sheldon has a passion for building homes and has many completed projects under his work belt. Under Sheldon’s leadership, we assemble a select team of contractors, handpicked for the specific skills required to meet the different demands of each home project. We often come back to the same ones, because they are true masters of their respective crafts, and always deliver exemplary results.

Building a custom home is a big investment and quite the section process as anyone who has been through the experience would know. Selecting the right homebuilder at the beginning is paramount for success. It took us a bit of time to find somebody like Sheldon of Saville Homes and when we connected, I knew it was the right chemistry to get the job done. Sheldon operated with a high degree of integrity and always followed up with his commitments which gave us continuous confidence in his work. Arriving to the end result is a process and decisions were sometimes untimely, however an accommodating and responsive builder such as Saville Homes made all the difference. Sheldon always had the time and patience to deal with matters brought to his attention; he gave good consultations and sound recommendations that benefitted the budget and ultimately the client at the end of the day.

β β β β β We have experienced a recurring leak over a patio door leading to a small deck and staircaseβitβs on the second floor. The water is coming from the third floor roofline which has a very awkward reverse slope back to the house. The original roofing company tried to fix it twice and failed, so when it happened this time we contacted Matt of Superior Roofing . He came immediatelyβon a weekend---told us what he thought the problem might be, and then brought Sheldon in to look at it and to take charge of what needed to be done. Sheldon and Matt then discussed next steps.
This was a small but complex job; difficult to erect the scaffolding, and hard to predict what might be found underneath the stucco. This was a busy time for everyone involved in this kind of work, with far bigger jobs available. Even so, Sheldon was willing to take it on. (I think he and Matt took pity on us senior citizens.)
Throughout the process Sheldon kept us informed. He employed good people who seemed very experienced and knowledgeable, and also hard-working and efficient. They identified and corrected mistakes made when the house was built five years ago. Sheldon replies to text messages faster than anyone I know; he came around regularly to check personally on the work, and to explain what was happening. We feel confident that if something else still needs attention that Sheldon will be there to discuss it and fix it.
We feel fortunate that Sheldon, and his company Saville Homes, undertook this work and have done it carefully and in a timely, well organized way.
