Nice lakes to enjoy. I was amazed the peacefulness of Deer Lake; a little hidden gem.

Beautiful place to visit and stay. Hicks lake is a great place to catch fish, swim and have a day out. It has good beach access and boat launch, 9hp engine max for outboards. Lots of picnic tables and there is also a trail around the lake about 6.5kms.

Great swimming area, (beach is rocky, no sand, but still a lovely place to relax. Picnic tables and clean washrooms are available. Free boat launch is nearby. Why pay to park at the beach in Harrison when this is as nice and it's free. Only the lack of palm trees, sand, and an ice cream stand prevents me from giving a 5 rating

Great day use location, tons of space, lots of benches. A nice beach and washroom facilities. Nice place for a picnic with the family on Harrison Lake!

Excellent place to camp. Cell coverage is barely available here but was a nice change from our overly connect world.

I loved it. Campsites are neat. They come by every day to check on you, and yiu can also buy ice from them. The lake is amazing for swimming and boating. Here you get a nice view of the mountains and the perimiter of the lake. This lake is very warm becus of the near by hot springs. There are 3 lakes : hicks, trout and beaver pond.

There were good things and not so good things about this park and I hope this helps someone in their decision making. The Good: It's beautiful. There are huge trees to shade the spots so we were comfortable even in Aug. The lake was gorgeous to look at and we enjoyed our stay. The sites were nicely laid out and level for our tent. No cell service means you can really disconnect. My kids loved the old fashion water pump. The bad: The road to get to the sites was 6km of potholes and the bridge was awful. It was hard going for my parents with their trailer. The only washroom facility was pit toilets which had no hand sanitizer in them. No signal meant you can't call for service on them as posted signs suggest. There was a fire ban yet several people had fires anyway. Nobody came out to monitor guest behavior and again no cell service. Considering the critical issues with fires all over BC this summer I was pretty disappointed in that. Also, the lakes had swimmers itch.

A short drive from Harrison Hot Springs into the peace and tranquil of Sasquatch Park! Hicks Lake is great for swimming, camping, day hikes and fishing. Deer Lake is smaller but has a playground and camping spots. But be aware that the trail around Hicks Lake has had some washouts from the winter rainstorms so bring sturdy boots or shoes. Also check the BC Parks website for any boil water or wildlife advisories. It is bear and cougar country after all!
