My two uncles had a 396 cid dragster.
We spent a few summers racing in the early 80's.
I remember Abbe from Queen City Performance being a young man.
That's me on the bike holding the time slip, waiting for them to come back to the pits.
The 1964 Commit "Midnight Cruiser" was my car for a short time around 1988 or 9. I was told that it used to race at SIR back in the day.
I'm not sure who owned the car at that time?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family entertainment! Had an absolute blast at the Jet Car feature (pun intended)!!! Friendly, helpful staff. I think before this season ends I'm even going to try a street legal race night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a decent drag track. Thought there would be more jet cars lighting up the sky but cest la vie it was a good show. The port a pottys could use more hand sanitizer and the hot chocolate machine was down and it was quite chilly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are very lucky to have a top notch drag racing facility in our province. The members at SIR have done a great job with the new washroom facility, grandstands, and racing surface.
What a great place to spend a weekend!
