The life cycles for the materials recycled at SARCAN all have an interesting story! Aluminum has a closed-loop recycling process, which means that recycled cans turn back into new cans. The beverage you enjoy in a can today could be back on the shelf as a new can in as little as 60 days!

Plastics are turned into different kinds of recycled plastic products, such as park benches and plastic wood. Plastic flake gets used to create things like fleece jackets and automotive carpeting.

Clear glass gets melted down and turned into little tiny beads that get added into road paint to create reflectivity. On Saskatchewan highways, over five million pounds of recycled glass from SARCAN are put in the white and yellow lines on the road every year!

Coloured glass gets turned into fibre glass insulation. Cartons are turned into recycled paper products, and so much more.

F	Floyd Sellsted on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super frustrating trying to set up an account for drop and go. Entered info 3 times and nothing. The gentleman helping me was very good and took care of my issues. Must have been a problem with their system certainly not their fault.

Fewer visits means more build-up of recyclable containers, and they still move people through quickly. There may be line-ups outside later in the day, but even at 2 p.m. everyone was queued inside. They all work hard, and don't get enough gratitude for what they do. Thank You, SARCAN.

D	Danny Poloskei on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used Drop & Go at this location without any problems. I did not step in a single sticky spot and the place also smelled less unpleasant than other SARCANs. It seemed pretty roomy, too, for whatever that's worth. Too bad I rarely have any business on the east end since this just might be the best Drop & Go facility. Google Maps doesn't make it very easy to find the place, though, since it shows the marker on the wrong building. This facility isn't quite on the service road - it's embedded in a parking lot on the west side of Giant Tiger.
D	Douglas Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor people skills twice now going to regina sarcan on victoria Ave I've been yelled at even tho I was following the rules and this last time I didn't know you couldn't use the carts and instead of explaining it nicely I was told if I don't like the rules I can call head office and tell them . So that being said I'm done with sarcan very brutal service
