Love it there, like beening disconnected from the phone and internet. However, you will see a lot of tents on site with noone in them, not using the power trying to reserve the week to be used for 3days on weekend where many trailers drive around looking for spots. Maybe reorganizing usage might help all to get opportunity to enjoy. Also, very disappointed that the campsite is going to be reserveable next year. We are sadden that we will not beable to come back to this beautiful area. So long Sandy McNabb its been a wonderful decade.

Right now, March, it's not open, but the road from Turner valley is plowed, as is the day use area. A few picnic tables can be accessed with a little determination and if you bring your own wood you can have a fire. I am not sure it's allowed but we have done it twice and noone said anything. Cross country skiing and hiking is popular, but trails are melting fast. Lots of cars parked on the road. The day use parking was full. Washrooms were open in day use area.

Sites do not have enough privacy. The showers were nice and clean but the coin machine was full which let's me know they are not emptying the coin machines enough through the week.

Great place to camp. Was very quiet during our stay, even though there were several campers in our area (mid-week). Just power, no water/sewer at camp sites but dump station and water close by at entrance and water available at taps that are scattered through campground. Shower block closed during our stay (COVID restrictions) but toilets scattered throughout campground with easy access. Would definitely go again and would recommend to family/friends.

This campsite is a diamond in the rough. It's so beautiful, nestled in the foothills of Kananaskis, it's general proximity to Calgary makes this campsite an excellent choice for a longer stay. You also have the amenities of Turner Valley and Black Diamond within 20 min.

Well spaced and treed sites. Firewood delivered. Quiet, clean and gorgeous! We’ll be back!

Beautiful place. The sites are powered and have great space. We were easily able to fit our trailer and two vehicles into the space. The campground was clean and well kept. The outhouses were always stocked and clean and there’s a decent amount in the area. The showers had nice hot water (you do need to purchase coins from the park rangers). The area is beautiful and peaceful. No reception; unless you go for a little walk. We really loved our stay there.

Nice campground and the spots are spaced out decently so it feels very private. Many hiking and biking trails a stones throw away! We will be back
