★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trailhead is just a pullout on the road, there are no outhouses here, so plan accordingly!
The hike is an easy walk through the forest, a loop with about 200 m of elevattion gain. It was very smoky due to forest fires, so we were not able to see the mountains, but we had some great views of Sheep River and many lovely wildflowers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun and easy hike. Gmfinsihed the hike within 2 hours. The first part is a bit sunny but as you keep going up the hill there was more shade and tree coverage. The trail is not the cleanest and had a lot of horse droppings but the view at the top was nice.
