★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location of this resort is perfect. There are plenty of beaches surrounding the resort to visit, the atmosphere is great & the owners were very helpful and friendly -as are all the locals I've come across. The resort is family friendly also. This is definitely a place I would enjoy revisiting on my future vacations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice host, was super helpful and let us in late in the evening. Old washrooms, woman's shower wasn't working, very shady, lots of moskitos, rarely other guests. Trees were hanging low, we were a little afraid for our rented RV.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location only 20 minute walk to dunes (although a bit of a trek if hauling beach gear) from the location at which you can camp/RV. Dated spot other than some new picnic tables. Washrooms could use an upgrade - wife used it once and wouldn't go back in. If you are pulling in for transient RV and tent camping be aware there are two locations under the same name and owner. Most of the nice beach/water pics are the location closest to the dunes where there is no RV and tent camping. No beach and just a dock at RV/tent location. Owner was accommodating of late arrival but best to arrive early as it's family owned and operated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was so much fun. I went with like 20 friends and had a big barbecue. We went a little late so we didn't really get a great spot, but it was good enough. You have to be there by 10am atleast to get a good BBQ spot. We ate really good food and swam in the water. I will be back to this beach for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Contrary to some opinions the owner Tim is very personable and friendly. Nice and quiet campground, not too far from quaint towns. Worth the walk to the dunes. Washrooms do need some updating, but other than that it's not a bad little place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent beach, best in Ontario. It’s not very crowded and is very big. There is a canteen there with things like poutine and freezies but sadly, they have no ice cream :(
The only part I don’t like at all is the bathrooms. They are disgusting. There’s mud on the floor, dead bugs on the counter, they’re very small too and there’s no hooks on the doors for bags and stuff.
But overall, it is truly a great beach and not too expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camping at the new West Lake campground was a nice experience.
No trees, no shade, but a beautiful sky view at night and a relaxing area with plenty of space.
The new washroom facilities are the best I have seen in Ontario Parks. With showers, private restrooms and laundry.
