That sets him apart from today's hair stylists raised in our era of social media and instant education. Price is a bargain for the quality of the service provided. At $25 (tax included) you get a significantly better haircut than in majority of Toronto's overhyped barbershops charging $40-$50 at least. Highly recommended!

I'm really picky with my hair and he cuts it perfect every time. He's quick, efficient, and super friendly. He's been doing this for over 40 years and I won't go to anyone else.

Update: I now live an hour and a half away, and still making the trip, as needed. Sam cuts my Son's hair now too. We admire his fastidiousness.

I am 34 now and was worried that Sam might retire after the lockdown— NOPE still the best old school service and good conversation. He is only one man so sometimes calling ahead to see how many people are waiting is a good idea before you show up. Great haircuts always

He takes time to listen and understand the hairstyle you need. He'll give you honest feedback about your hair and will recommend the best cut. In terms of price, the charge is slightly more expensive than others in the area but the price is worth the cut. I've availed haircuts at other salons in the area and you receive the cheap service for the cheap price. Sam's is going to be my go-to barber shop.
