There was a line up and we appreciate the extra staff coming to the cashier side to help her pack bought items. Good teamwork. Great example

The donations received here are available for sale or for the use of those in need. Whether the item is brand name or otherwise, their price is the same. For those who can't afford the things they need, Salvation Army allows them to choose any belt, coat, jeans, etc that they need, regardless of the item's value. I may not donate Coach purses or Silver jeans, but what I do have I donate here. This is a true charity.

I leave happy everytime I go to the Salvation Army Thrift Store. As it is a secondhand shop, you can find almost anything and everything here. You don't have to know what you are looking for or if you know whether it exists or not. The donations they receive vary from antiques, items from world travels, clothing including scrubs, electronics, small appliances, any dishes you could ever need, bedding, craft supplies, toys, wrapping supplies and everything in between. There is still a small area for furniture during COVID-19 restrictions. There are name brands available, sometimes still with tags on or in the original packaging. I have never not found what I was looking for when I've shopped here. (Reminder: used mattresses cannot be donated, so they will never have used mattresses here. On a few occasions, however, they have had new mattresses available.) The prices are very reasonable and there will even still be sales and coupons. A nice woman's coat can range from $5-12. Jeans are around the same prices. Bedside or livingroom tables can be as low as $5 and occasionally full living room or bedroom sets are available. They have bins of loose, mismatched flatware for only a quarter a piece. This is such a great place to go to set up a new household on a budget. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful whenever I have gone. Even if I don't end up buying anything and am just seeing what's there, the staff there are happy to answer questions or chat. During my visit today, the cashier was exceptionally friendly. She seemed excited to work there and help everyone out. I had to wait for someone to pick me up after shopping there and the cashier did not make me feel as though it was an inconvenience that I waited in the store instead of the cold. She engaged in very pleasant conversation with me and others who came to the register as she organized, cleaned, sanitized and rang people through. Although I had to wait for a while for my ride, it did not feel as though it was very long because of the extraverted and friendly personality of the cashier.
