Very nice store for anime needs. The staff is nice and helpful. Manga are selling at retail price. If you buy two things, the second or the cheaper one is 20% off. I think they have the best price for pokemon tcg in metrotown. I saw a exact pokemon box in toysrus for over 70 and they sell it for under 60. The slightly negative part for me is that some figures and gunpla are over priced. But overall the price is not too bad.

Collection: They have a diverse collection of anime figures in Vancouver, and they are the only authorized reseller of Good Smile Company in Metro Vancouver. Most of the collections are within the last 2 years. Pretty much impossible to find figures of older animes such as Railgun or My Youth Romantic Comedy, etc—same as most other places. Price: 90% of the items are always "on sale" but obviously not legit "sale" as other reviews have mentioned: they simply put an inflated original price and use the regular price as "on sale price". Nevertheless, prices are fair for 70% of the figurines. The rest 30% accounts for popular characters (1.5 times or double the price compared to other characters from the same product line), and some nendoroids priced at almost or over 100 bucks (~60% more than Japanese MSRP by GSC). However, recognizing that the figurine market is almost a monopoly or oligopoly in Canada, especially in BC, they are being fair enough. Discount: The in-store discount is currently "buy one get second one 20% off" but it is misleading and a bit of nonsense. Let's say I buy two 50-dollar figures and one 25-dollar figure, I would only get discount for the 25-dollar one. However, if I only buy the two 50-dollar ones, I would get 20% off for $50, then I just buy another $25 seperately and I would ended up saving more. I found this confusing and frustrating when I was informed so. Also, if you order online and choose pick up, you get 10% off everything, which will also end up saving the equal amount or more (I did the math and this is always true). Return Policy: No return for figures, only exchange within 7 days. Anyway, was still happy to grab a few Demon Slayer figures, just ended up paying 10 bucks more than if I were to order online and pick up, which was okay but still, kinda frustrating. The staff won't interrupt you when you are browsing, which I appreciate, but at the meantime, almost no greetings as well even after checkout. Overall 4/5. Would recommend, but definitely still have room for improvement.

This store is an excellent store for collecting. Whether that be Manga, Gunpla, TCGs, or other similar products. The staff is friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable about their products, and have a genuine passion for what they're doing. The store isn't a full out Card and Games store, and they do not have play space, but that's perfectly fine. If looking for play space in this area, there are ample amounts of places in the mall to play any sort of game. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the mall, absolute can't miss shop.

Often busy and it's a very small space so you'll definitely be playing human bumper cars if you go. That being said, great selection and good prices. I pretty much always end up seeing something I need to talk myself out of impulse buying lol

Recently I came to the realization that I got ripped off multiple times buying figures, Nendoroids, and funkos here over the past few years. I wish I have done some research online before making any purchase from this vendor; it would have been cheaper to just buy from amiami crunchyroll store GSC etc (or any other vendors online). Even aftermarket scalpers charge less in most cases. There was once where I overpaid for a demon slayer prized figure so bad that I later found out Hot Topic was selling the exact same figure for 1/3 of what I paid. That should give you an idea of how overpriced they are. Think twice before you put down money for pre-orders. They make you put down NON-REFUNDABLE cash deposit and find lame excuses to not give the full price of your pre-order. I believe the motive behind that is to avoid missing out on potential profit in case the merchandise turns out to be hyped in the aftermarket by the time it gets in their hand. Even if you find out later, they just can't lose because they already pocketed your deposit no matter what. Certain staff can get quite passive aggressive when I tried to call him out on his hunger marketing sales pitch; when I was inquiring about the availability of an item, this male staff makes said item sound like they are extremely limited and highly sought after, in an attempt to create FOMO and lure you into placing down more cash deposit. Initially I really wanted to support local, however their slimey business practice left a bad taste in my mouth to this day. Hopefully my experience can help you avoid some unnecessary grief from overpaying. Remember to always do your research before placing down cash deposit with them. To end this review on a positive note, almost all the staffs there are extremely approachable, knowledgeable, and pleasant to speak with.

Their mini Gundam figures are a good price! My friend definitely enjoyed thoroughly looking at them seeing which ones he'd get while I got a SSS rarity figurine Lakshmi Bai from FGO! It was the only one in store and I was lucky I was looking up around the place where it was placed up high. They had a really friendly and helpful staff which made it a nice store to go back to.
