β β β β β The prices in SafeWay, Robson, Vancouver have become insane and unaffordable. Very disappointed as this is the closest store to me but I will need to take my shopping elsewhere. Prices are up to 30% more than nearby competitors and it doesn't make sense unless this is artificial mark-up. For instance, I saw that Silk Almond milk is $4.27, where at No Frills a block away it's $2.17 for the same product. I also saw an 8-pack of Compliments frozen burger patties is $19.72 (are you insane?). The competitor's product is just over $12. Nearly all products in the store follow this trend and it's very disappointing.

β β β β β This location has been selected as a site that administers Covid vaccines. The issue is not that they administer the vaccine, the issue is where they administer the vaccine. Due to the store going through renovations, the area where they administer the vaccine is right beside the freezer section, right beside other shoppers. Their is no privacy whatsoever, from a health & safety perspective it is very strange to have biohazardous waste (needles) in a food store, especially in the open. Safeway should have declined to administer the vaccine whilst the renovations were happening.

β β β β β They have great value meals so I eat there alot. I would say it's only once that I had my chicken not done well completely but otherwise you will have 2 large drumsticks fries and a drink for 6 dollars. I guarantee you there is no other value eatery along Robson

β β β β β Bought this fried chicken from Safeway Robson yesterday. The tag shows itβs packed on Jul 29th (Yesterday) but the chicken doesnβt look and taste fresh (taste dry and burntοΌThey either over cooked or re-fried and put it on a new label. Other than this the store isnβt bad.

β β β β β Excellent groceries store with a great selection of products and fresh vegetables and all sorts of meat. The pharmacy is well equipped and the team is nice and gentle.
Self checkout helps a lot, although the cashiers are efficient too.

β β β β β I want to complaint about how inaccessible your store in Denman with Robson st in Vancouver is. I have a knee fracture and walk with cratches and today when I went to the store, the automatic stairs werenβt working. I took the elevator and when I got upstairs to the store there were no shopping baskets or carts available near by. I asked a couple of staff members and they sadly told me I had to go to the main entrance. How frustrating that is for a person with limited walking. One of the staff members suggested I could take one from the cashier. Of course that is not safe as it has not been desinfected. Thereβs a world pandemic. I had a horrible and difficult experience. Hope you do better

β β β β β West End Institution. Great staff. Affordable (well Amazon is a block away so yes, Safeway is affordable). AND they have parking. AND carts you don't have to remember to bring a coin for. AND Starbucks. AND a bakery (so no factory bread that expires in a year). I love β€ this grocery store.
