C	Chris M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The construction in here has been going on for months and months. It’s nuts. Flooring is all over and uneven. Massive lines all the time. They need to shut for a week, get this done, and then reopen. It’s now easier and quicker for me to drive further to another store
T	T M (Honest reviewer) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a very weird encounter with a female member of staff (white female around 45 to 50 years of age with brown hair) at the deli counter at around 1pm on the 23rd of April 2022. I asked her to heat up some sausage rolls and a samosa that I was ordering at the deli in their microwave. This seemed to offend her as she snapped at me and told me I would have to pay first. I really don't understand why she was so rude to me. Update from reading the reviews it seems Im not the only person who's had negative encounter with this woman
g	google user on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm staying away from the deli counter until renovations complete! This morning I saw a man on a ladder with a feather duster. He was dusting the fixtures right above the open case with cheeses etc. Clouds of construction dust were falling onto the packages below! When I pointed it out he nonchalantly said "that's what we're here for...to clean things up"!!!! He continued undeterred and the dust kept falling.
l	local guide on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid self checkout! There's always someone with a full cart taking up way too much time trying to organize and fit all their items on the space allotted. There should be limits on the number of items you can take through at self checkout.
C	C M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the pleasure of being assisted by a wonderful lady in the floral department at North Hill Mall Safeway. Unfortunately I don’t recall her name but she went above and beyond in answering all of my questions and in providing top-notch customer service. The plant that I ordered was delivered as promised and the recipient could not have been happier with the quality of the product. I will definitely be patronizing this location again.
M	Maverick Dawn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to this Safeway for the past 15 years and I always use Self Check Out. The workers who work at SCO have always been friendly, helpful and great. But today Sat May 21st, 2022, I had to deal with the rudest worker in the produce dept. She is a brunette, in her 30s or 40s, who ties up her hair and wears a face mask. I put my grocery hand cart in one of the aisle, tucked into the corner of the aisle and one of the perpendicular displays at the end. I never leave my hand cart in the middle of the aisle, so as to not block it. I was gone for a minute, not 5 or 10 mins, to get a produce bag to put oranges in it. When I get back, she was stocking produce right by my hand cart and she was not there when I initially put down the cart. She rudely and belligerently said that I can't put my hand cart there because people will trip over it. She was just mad because she had to move her produce cart over a little, because my hand cart was there. If said politely, I would not have had a problem. If this produce worker is miserable and hates her job, she should work some place else.
c	chen zhenning on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This maybe the worst safeway in Calgary, I had more than twice, the checkout money I paid doesnt match the price on tag. When I complained to the Customer service , they will double check the tag price and say sorry to you and do a refund, but before that, they wont trust you, but doubt you first. Like yesterday, the tag price is $1.19 each, but they charged me double. Really awful, shopping in this safeway you have better check everything after you paid.
D	*Doug Schneider { hecschneider * }** on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great store, newly.renovated and stocked with many more items than the smaller Safeway stores. Clean and well organized. Easy to find what you are looking for. Fantastic bakery. Huge variety of fresh produce. And it also has a pharmacy located in the back of the store. In addition to all that, they have a fabulous deli and sandwich counter in the front of the store serving fresh made sandwiches while you wait.
