About Safeway Liquor Brooks
A proudly Canadian company with more than 110 years in the food business, Sobeys Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Empire Company Limited, headquartered in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. The Sobeys name is synonymous with quality and passion. Now we’ve brought it to liquor stores across Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Here’s how: in 1993, the Alberta Provincial Government announced the privatization of the liquor retail industry. Capitalizing on this important change, we launched Western Cellars, which opened its first location in Spruce Grove in November 1995. In 2014 Sobeys Liquor acquired Safeway Wine & Spirits. Since then, we’ve grown steadily to over 100 locations across Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

He was extremely polite,professional and helpful.I will always visit this store as they are great in customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheapest way to buy wedding booze that we have found in town. (You will need to be patient and shop the flyer though if you want the $7-11off /bottle) which is better than the 20% off that the other places offer for a bulk order.
We love being able to sample wine before buying.
The staff has been great about dividing purchases up to maximize out airmiles and they will do unopened bottle returns (with receipt)
Buying things from flyer sales, (as recommended) made the happened liquor difficult to return, but it was returned once a manager was available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s my 2nd review for this place & I am writing this as I can’t appreciate enough all the help & remarkable service they offer ,for a recent Christmas party at my place I purchased all the wine and beer from this store after considering every other store in Brooks as when I spoke to Vivek the manager , telling him what I require , he not just explained everything in detail but also gave the options for gift packs that I could buy for my guests.
The variety and excellent customer service by Vivek won me over.He helped me load the items I purchased to my car.
How you treat your customers makes all the difference in good & excellent and successful business.
