D	D. Gunson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very pleasant experience at the 1625 Kenaston Blvd location. The cashier (Wilton K) that served me, made my trip to the grocery store very welcoming considering what we are all going through with this pandemic. We need more people like him in a time like this, a big pat on the back to him. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the server in the meat department that graciously helped me out. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name to give him a big shout out too. Thank you to Safeway for employing and putting these staff in the positions that they are in. I hope that this message is seen and is past along to these employees that deserve to be recognized for their outstanding customer service.
T	Tony Marques on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am done with Safeway. I live in Lindenwoods and it’s easier to drive to Safeway than Sobey’s. However from now on I am going to Sobey’s. Better produce and fruit selection and most importantly a self checkout. I have wasted a lot of time at Safeway waiting for a cashier; especially when buying just a few items. Just went there. 8 people in express line and huge lineups for the other cashiers.

The biggest deal was a nice roast of beef discounted to half price, (you have to cook such items immediately but it roasted nicely and tastes great.) Quick process at cashier. Aside from that, pretty much your normal Safeway, prices as expected, clean, not very crowded. Masking enforced and it looked like everyone was on board.

R	Roxie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Safeway is not bad, could be better. Dulce de leche is an Argentinean caramel, better than Canadian caramel. They used to sell it, now they stopped. At Sobeys this caramel is always sold out!! Believe me you will not be disappointed. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!! My mozzarella also don't sell it anymore?. I know they cannot please everyone...... But something is going on ..... Don't you think? Specially reading some reviews. C'mon Safeway you can do better!!! ?

The customers in front bought a lot of food and drinks, and a lot of big boxes of drinks were in the shopping cart. When the duty manager scans the product, I think she can give the scanner to the customer, or she can help the customer scan from behind instead of standing there and watching, and then let the customer carry it box by box to scan, this and other Supermarkets are completely different. They have no sense of service at all. What's even more ridiculous is that I used the sobeys gift card today, and they actually told me not to use it.
T	Triple Threat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming from a former Safeway staff, may I suggest training your staff better. I was pretty well cut off every single time in Deli by Deli staff. This one short woman with an accent and glasses (guessing a supervisor), was explaining what to restock to new employee but she literally pushed her way in front of me as I shopped. Both in Grab n Go section & Soup Bar. Then when I go to till to pay the cashier is chatting with Customer Service and left her light on. This is really unappealing to a consumer. I believe in supporting local but really, get your act together. I found what I was looking for so grateful for that at least but can do without the poor customer service.
