“Baked Fresh Tastes Better!”

In 1981, Glenn Wilde purchased an existing Bun Master franchise – #91 out of 112 stores. By 1984, he’d made it to #1, and in 2001 he dropped the franchise to became Harvest Bakery & Deli – still family-owned and operated today by Glenn, son-in-law Andy Kostynuik, and son Brent Wilde.

Harvest Bakery & Deli supplies quality baked goods not only in the Retail Store, but also through our Commercial Sales Department to restaurants and other retail establishments throughout Winnipeg and Western Canada.

The bakery has expanded to add catering, photo cakes, social packages, made to order sandwiches, soup, salads and promote Made in Manitoba products to continue to support local business as they have supported us.

Thank You, Winnipeg! Harvest Bakery & Deli has been faithfully serving Winnipeg with beloved baked goods and popular deli fare for over 35 years and counting.

Decent bakery. Selection in there wasn't as big as I thought it would be. They seem to make a lot of sandwich and normal bread but had little selection on fresh bread. Nice inside, smells good.

Best place to buy β€œphoto” cookies! Fabulous baked goods - the imperial cookies were both visually appealing & scrumptiously delicious! Thanks for doing a great job on my order! I will definitely order again!

Have shopped here for years, watched it steadily going down hill in both quality and value. Was last in a week ago, Sat., Mar.19th. Likely will not e back. Left empty handed and very disapointed! As just one specific example an comparative, I have always enjoyed their Fergassa Bread buns. Sadly, these like many other bread items have become steadily worse over the years, but this time a new low! They all looked small, flat, like caved in, with very little to no cheese an/or greem onions could be seen, which is basically the whole distinguishung thing about this bread. They looked terrible! They also used to sell out quickly. Not anymore apparently. Most of All their bread seems made with only cost savings in mind. The bagels look more like 1/2 cooked bad cakes, the pizza crust is basically only a thicker flat bread ..it is only just more of the same as the enitre balance...1/2 cooked (never any brown colour from baking, az one would even 1/2 expect, never anything close to a crust) all white looking doughy tired bread. Maybe only the potato buns are consistent now? The young guy working the counter was so carefree/un attentive and when questioned, quick to make useless suggestiins assumptions and was actually kind of bizzare in his excuses and far out justifications. Without coming out and saying, he was screaming "I really really hate working here!" Big tip, Go to Millers Meats next door and buy all other Good local bakery products, or just better to stick with Dempsters from Safeway! This bakery is the Very Best of The Worst Winnipeg offers! All those that think this place is still good, I suggest you try a comparison yourself...Even to anything made by Dempsters..lol! Pretty sad Really. I also think it is way overpriced based on the quality, tasre and efforts.. The last words I will say. Good Luck! PS ...check out the way they respond to any negative reviews which again is very telling, and pathetically funny...lol

Delicious and moist oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Some products are a little pricey, but the ones I love are worth it. Friendly, hard working staff.

I’ve been shopping occasionally at Harvest Bakery for 30 years and unfortunately the place goes down with their service and quality of products that they sell. If you add to it the growing prices the choice is obvious. I’d rather buy my bread across the street. Staff at cash register is often bored, unknowledgeble and has no answers to asked questions. Go elsewhere is my advice.

I ordered a 1/2 slab chocolate cake with cherry filling from here for my husband's birthday, and it was SO GOOD!!!! The cake and the icing were so yummy: best cake I've ever had. The cake was a huge hit at his birthday party!

Harvest Bakery & Deli is a fabulous locally owned business located in the Kenaston Village Mall. From the moment you walk in, you can smell the fresh baked bread, rolls, bagels, buns, and more! At the back of the store is the deli where you can order all types of sandwiches, bunwiches paninis that can be filled numerous deli meats and cheeses. My three favourite items I get when I visit Harvest Bakery & Deli are pizza shells, bagels, and their homemade garlic butter which I put on my steaks when grilling. Definitely worth the 5 stars given! Oh, and they do have both daily and weekly specials, as well as featured products.
