Posting as a tenant with Kelly Chi as the agent of the property during the last month of my stay. • Unprofessional Ex. Calling the tenant 1 minute before showing time to ask if I can return to the property to give her keys since she does not have them. After extending her this courtesy she is nowhere to be seen before reappearing to notify me the clients cancelled after waiting a couple minutes. Ex. Booking times that do not line up at all with the showing times. She booked a showing time on Sunday 5pm through email, to which her colleague sent a reconfirmation message at 11:30am on the Sunday of the booking to confirm a showing for a different claimed showing time at 1pm. • Mean-spirited Ex. During my discussion with the landlord about the condition of the moving out apartment. I wanted to show evidence to the landlord that the oven and microwave were all in the same state as I had left them, which the landlord was receptive about. Kelly interjected calling me "that kind of malicious person" in Chinese, and telling the landlord "not to deal with me" since she will. And tries to outline differents terms as the landlords intent--as the landlord repeated multiple times, to leave things as they were before the move in. • Disingenuous Ex. After exposing the unprofessionalism in her bookings to the landlord, Kelly attempted to double back and claim that "she booked times properly". After showing her texts and emails for proof, she says "she tries her best to give notifications". Aside: The gentleman named Kevin who thankfully gave confirmation messages before shwoings-even though they were late notice, was a genuine fellow, pleasant and professional during visits. Overall. If you are still set on this agency, please thoroughly evaluate your agent. From Kevin alone, I know this agency has nice and genuine people, but some others I would definetly not recommend. I have been renting properties for 4 years, and managing properties for 5 myself, NEVER (you can check my profile) have I had such a NEGATIVE experience with an agent to write such a scathing review to deter people from a service.
