★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was off work waiting for emergency surgery on my back. My EI benefits had run out and my application for disability was held up. I had zero income for 4 mos. I used up all my savings and my cupboards were bare. My pride would not allow me to get help. Then the Pandemic happened and things got desperate. I called several food banks and the only one who called me back was Ryan's Rainbow. I cried all the way there. I had never needed to use a food bank so I was overwhelmed by their generosity. I was so grateful.
A BIG THANK YOU to the ladies who helped me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm very thankful for their help, I recieved a box of food from them today and for that I am grateful. But half of the food in the box was rotten or spoiled. The milk was sour, half of the vegetables are rotten all the way through and the tofu seal was broken with detritus inside the packaging. What they do here is wonderful, I just wish all the food was edible.
