★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible little getaway. Pet friendly as well which is a major bonus for me. The owners, France and Daryl were so warm and hospitable we felt like we were staying with family. I've never experienced resort staff as kind, hardworking and wonderful as these people are. We will most definitely be back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great weekend getaway at Ruth Lake Lodge. France and Daryl are incredible hosts and made sure we were well taken care of. We stayed at the Pine cottage and it had all the necessities you needed and then some.
Nothing better than putting your feet up, relaxing by a fire looking out on the lake!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we arrived at Ruth Lake Lodge, we were warmly welcomed by France and Daryl, they were very helpful and gave us a lot of information for our stay. We stayed in the yellow cottage (called Pine), which is equipped with all necessary things (and more!). A gas grill on the terrace, a fireplace with plenty of firewood ensured that it was also very comfortable outside the hut.
If you don't just want to enjoy the peace and quiet, you can do a lot, we have decided to take a trip by motorboat, exploring the lake and enjoying the abundant flora and fauna.
We spent three nights in the Ruth Lake Lodge, the farewell was not easy for us. This stay was certainly the central experience for us on this vacation in Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the Pine Cabin in late August. It was a return trip for us, having enjoyed a September stay in the Cedar Cabin the previous year. As other guests have mentioned, France and Daryl are very personable and helpful hosts, even to the point of putting food on our table (from their fine garden). The cabins are practical and very comfortable, with a covered veranda and a firepit (not that we could use it this year due to the fire restrictions) on the lake side. They are fitted out with the normal amenities required to cook meals, make coffee and read a book. Being kayaker and nature types, we mostly enjoyed paddling around the marshy end of the lake and the wilder northwest arm. The loon calls were amazing and it was interesting to see the beaver houses and even a muskrat. We loved the dark nighttime sky with all the stars. We also used the cabin as a base to explore the area, including the farmers market in 100 Mile House, and hikes at Canim Falls, Walker Valley and 108 Mile house. In other words, there was a lot to do that interested us. I expect we will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three of us came up late this October to go hunting for a week. We were used to areas with " Rustic Cabins" but we were delighted to find the excellent, well equipped and comfortable cabins at Ruth Lake Lodge. France and Daryl are fantastic hosts who made us feel welcome to the area, and helped with directions to the area roads and services. The cabin was wonderful....warm, with a particularly well equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking and serving, very comfortable beds with warm duvets, and a lovely view over the lake. We hope to come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy nature and we definitely found it here. The cabins are really well furnished and had everything we needed. France and Daryl were so nice, and even helped us fix a flat tire on our way out! We'll definitely be returning for a longer stay in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ruth Lake Lodge is a beautiful place and so peaceful. My husband and I stayed in the Pine Cabin for 3 nights recently. Cabin had all the basic amenities plus many wonderful extras including towels, hand soap, paper towels, pillows etc. Daryl and France were amazing hosts and very friendly. We received fresh veggies from their garden every day, so delicious. We had a fun time on the lake and the fishing was good. Last night at the resort we saw a mama deer and her young one right outside our cabin. Incredible. I highly recommend this resort. We will return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our second time at Ruth Lake Lodge and once again we had the most wonderful time! France and Daryl are always around in case you need anything and incredibly welcoming. We spent our days swimming and canoeing and in the evening we could sneak into the garden for some fresh veggies to add to our dinners.
The cabins have everything you need to stay comfortable, I loved waking up to the sound of the Loons in the morning. You truly are able to unwind and disconnect from the rest of the world.
We will be making Ruth Lake Lodge a yearly visit for as long as we can!
