Located on Highway #16, the Yellowhead Highway which is part of the Trans Canada Highway system.
Lanigan has a full compliment of Recreation Facilities & Services including a full time Recreation Director, recreation complex, outdoor swimming pool, nine hole grass greens golf course, sportsground, soccer field, playgrounds, library and a curling rink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great, quiet and well wooded campground right off the Yellowhead Highway. Great overnight for long distance travel. Water and electric on large, mostly level sites for $20. A ton better than the KOA we stYed in the night before in Winnepeg for twice the price. Flush toilets and showers. Good places to walk the dog. Free firewood if you're so inclined and a playground if you're traveling with kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here to stay as my crew and I were working in Janson.
Affordable rates with free included extras that you would have to pay a ridiculous fee if you went to other camp grounds. I would highly recommend.
There is also a golf course with a liquor lodge but just reviewing that it's there. I didn't check any of it out.
Because I'm a stringent reviewer all I have to say about the place is that it needs it's electrical outlets replaced. Our site the plugs were falling out and old(but still worked). It only takes $30 and some minor work to repair up to safety code.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove in at 9pm and was able to self check in. It was clean and campground was well maintained. Price was only $12 for no power. It is obvious that the town takes great care of the facility. We travel this road several times a year and will definately stop again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome stop on our way west. Stopping in Brian Propp's home town. Nice quiet, comfortable and clean campsite that is affordable and very much appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy and quiet small campground with choice of serviced/unserviced lots. No hot water at first shower but 2nd worked well with good pressure. Bathrooms okay clean, could use a garbage collection around property. Free firewood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this little campground, although we only spent a few hours here to bbq up supper while the kids played in the park, I would love to come camp here for a few nights, very cozy and clean ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved it. It's a nice little campground. There are washrooms and showers available. Nice sites. The handicap washroom/shower was decent to get around in. LOVE that the shower head can come off the wall to be hand held. My only recommendation would be that there is a safety grab bar in the handicap shower. Plus a couple hooks to hang stuff.
