★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BCAA offers their optional auto insurance. I regret getting optional insurance from RSA and BCAA. I will cancel it as soon as possible. RSA is very slow in responding and providing approval for repairs of my car. RSA also won't cover all of the damage in my car. It's only $ 133, not much but it was caused by the accident. RSA claimed that the damage was result of wear and tear! Even if it's clear that it resulted from the other driver's fault, which means ICBC was actually the one who will pay. RSA's job is simply to get the money from ICBC. It seems that they are just plain lazy. First slow to respond and second won't reconsider covering all the damage by simply working more and getting reimbursement from ICBC. I even warned my adjuster that I will post a review online, to warn other customers. She doesn't care at all! She recommended to pay $100 to the dealership to assess the damage if it was really caused by the accident. Oh my goodness, RSA wants me to spend time to set an appointment at the dealership, spend time travelling to the dealership, pay gas just to assess a $133 damage. I paid for it myself, but I was very annoyed by being treated like an idiot being given an advise that no one will take so they can get away from a $133 fix. I hope this helps someone else save some time and hassle from RSA. Never again. Buyer beware!
