K	Kelly K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we walked in, there was a man laying on a couch in another room...apparently the front desk receptionist (owner?!) Not that pleasant either. As we entered our room , we were hit with a smell of old stale smoke. Couch was stained as were the walls, fridge and who knows what else. We did NOT stick around long enough to see. Needs a major overhaul, could have potential as it sits overlooking the water. Not worth $100 plus a night. Pros...I got my back when we politely told him we couldn't stay here .
D	David Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very clean. Bathtub was dirty and the carpet is quite old and unvacuumed, but the mattresses were firm. Functional for shelter, I guess. Note if you get the rooms facing the bay, you might get a light shining through the thin drapes from the dock. But guests smoking at the ends of the hallways on the second floor will permeate the smell to your room.
K	Keven Crooks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is nothing good I can say about this property! Its dirty, both inside and out. Broken, dirty chairs outside by the water. Stairwells are very dirty. Stains on all the carpeting. I stayed here a week for work, it was the only place available. My room was only serviced once during my stay, and that was just change out the towels. Hairs on the shower wall the first night I used it. Sheets and pillow cases were never changed the 6 nights I was there. I wouldnt reccomend this place unless you're in desperate need of a room.
D	Dane Eggleston on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ from the outside one could imagine nice clean rooms, the thought of that is swept away though once you enter the motel. The front office is dirty, customers service was poor and the up keel was deplorable..... so the front office is a bit shabby but hey! Maybe the rooms will be a nice change?....... wrong again.... the walls are chipped and water stained at times there are two different shade of white sometimes there is just wall plaster that has yet to be painted. The roof is water stained, the carpet is stained with random burn marks, the desk used in the room is tattered, chipped and looks like it la previous use was in a high school. The windows somehow even closed let the wind in. The beds are firm and the linens are slightly stained and tattered. The shower curtain is stained reddish brown with some black spots probably mold. The view out the window is great though! Overall I would not reccomend staying here unless you absolutely need a place to stay....
J	Janet F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with the motel. It is very dated and has a musty smell. I would assume everything in the room was 20+ years old including the bed which had no springs. Very terrible sleep - sinking into the hole in the middle of the bed. The pillows had no fill and there was only one per person. The sound travel was horrible and we could here noise from the room above us all night long. Many if not most of the rooms had permanent residents. And to top off the experience the room was nearly $200 for the night that we were there.
K	Kimwood Specialty Building on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked reservation through Priceline for $199. (Too much - no rooms on coast). After providing my card information the agent told me room was in USD. I asked to cancel transaction immediately but was unable. Customer service through Bookings.com also tried to cancel but owners refused. As we were travelling through Sechelt I stopped to look at the place. Wow! Homeless shelter or what. There was no staff in the office and absolutely nothing attractive about this establishment. In 30 degree weather I wouldn’t house any human life in that place. They have a nonrefundable transaction policy for one reason, to gouge your money. Be careful not to reserve this place, bad news all the way around.

W/ no repercussions, even though their policy says 7 days or no refunds. The hostess was very understanding and i intend to give this iconic porpoise bay place another chance asap!
P	Philip Joe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They only have half the building available but as for renting rooms there I do not know if they have anything available at the moment so the service is there are kind of poor I do know for a fact that cost a fair amount of money to spend one night there so if you don't have a lot of money the chances are you might not be able to get a room.
