Terrible service! No one knew how to help me. I had an issue with my phone and nobody was able to put an effort and try to solve the problem. Never coming back here again.

They have all the equipment with affordable prices. It might be the only photography store in the East which makes it's location very advantageous to those on the East side of the city

P R O, P R O, P R O ! Is there a 6th star for satisfaction! My issue pertains to bad keyboards on a 2017 MBP's. APPLE had a replacement program from the get go but was not clear or vocal about the 4 year max. after purchase to get it replaced. I was just out of that period. I got in touch with the repair/warrenty service at ROYAL PHOTO, as they had sold the MBP to me. The situation at large included APPLE flaking out on max time for recall, me needing fast service as I use my machine everyday for work, and turnaround time being short. My homework being done, I called back APPLE, envoked consumer law - reasonable life expectancy of a product is 5 years in Quebec. To save the $450++ repair and $160 diagnostic, evaluation against, dropage, cosmettic damage, cracks or water damge had to be done first by ROYAL PHOTO technicians on APPLE's behalf. ROYAL PHOTO understood from the get go I was in a time crunch but assured me, if my machine was clean and without damage under APPLE guidlines they would do their best for an expetitive turn around. They also refered me to Sebastian in the rental department who gave me a very reasonable price in case renting a MBP was an option in the mean time. I put my affairs in order to not rent. My machine was super clean. ROYAL PHOTO was as pro as pro can get. Diagnostic and eval, confirmation, part order and expedited service. I barely lost 2 days of work as their turn around time for my issue was in the end 5 business days back to back with a week-end in the middle. APPLE maned up and my topcase was covered and free. Learn to know your techs, shops and build a relationship. Learn to appreciate their support and advice. ROYAL PHOTO, top service! ROYAL PHOTO 5 STARS!

Last month I was in the market for a new camera body and lens. Before going to Royal Photo I called to make sure they had what I was looking for in stock and I also had a few questions. First phone call nobody could talk to me so I left a message with my name and number but did not receive a call back. Second time I called was put on hold for 30 minutes so hung up. Third time once again nobody available to talk to me. Also was treaded in a rude manner and not sure if it’s because I spoke in English but felt like they were not interested in my money. Made my purchase at another store in old Montreal and could not be happier with the service that I received and ended up spending over 5000.00 in camera gear. Royal Photo customer experience is terrible and would not recommend buying anything from them!

Fast and competent service, able to accommodate specific requests (foreign passport photo guidelines ) without problems. Friendly and competent, responsive via Facebook too. Can only recommend!

Honestly my go-to camera shop now. They treat you like a client, not just a customer. They take their time with you and go out of their way to help you out. Recently went in for a somewhat big purchase and they made sure I got discounts and rebates on anything that was available. Highly recommend over other camera shops in the vicinity.

We went to Royal Photo on a Saturday afternoon to take ID photos of myself, my husband and our 3 month old baby. I called ahead to make sure they would be able to take photos of the baby. The person who answered was very friendly and helpful. She told us to avoid white clothing for the baby which was useful because we had originally dressed our baby in a blue and white striped t-shirt. There was a slight waiting period when we arrived (roughly 5 minutes) but once the person took us back to take our photos, it was super fast! Very efficient and quick service which is what you want especially with a small baby. The longest part was waiting for the photos (5 sets of photos). It took some time but the quality of the photos are amazing. Totally worth the wait. Really happy with our decision to go to Royal Photo, we will for sure go there again for any future ID photos.
