Incredible facility and staff

Went in to see a friend in the Patient Care Centre.

My husband and I took our little one to the ER since she was having a fever for over 48 hrs. There was no one in line at the reception, and we were so worried about out LO so we were standing there waiting for this guy to call us. He saw us FOR SURE and just kept chatting with some co-workers in the back, ignored us for FIVE MINS, until his co-worker (not the same one he was HAPPILY chatting with) kindly reminded him. After all information was taken, we waited for THREE hrs until we saw a doctor. I understand that there are more patients that need urgent care than my LO, but THREE hrs... My lo was in fever and was in a new environment and was sleepy, and she does not like strangers touching her. The doctor was pretty rough in our opinion when he was trying to examine her, and the nurse also came into the room to help make my LO lying on the bed. My LO was fighting hard to get up and was screaming and crying hard. At one time I just could not stand it and ask them to stop and give her a break. I understand that it was necessary for them to check her, but it was too ROUGH!!! Could them give her a little break!!! She cried so hard!!! After the doctor left, the nurse brought some medicine and asked us to give to our LO. She was still crying and would not take it. The nurse wanted to give the medicine to my LO in her way (apparently her way will not be pleasant for my LO), I told her NO. In no way I will let her touch my LO again!!! This ER experience was horrible for my family. I had our family doctor checked my LO a few days later, she also cried and did not want to be touched, my family doctor did not act like them!!!
