β β β β β This complaint is specifically tailored to police responding to drinking an driving in Kamloops. The Kamloops police force does NOT care about drunk drivers and will take their time responding to a call. In 2 accounts I have had police officers show no interest whatsoever in regards to the subject. Once I was following a clearly drunk driver while on the phone with 911 and it took half an hour for any officer to arrive driving under the speed limit with no sirens on (after the driver was out of my view) and told me there was nothing he could do because I didn't get a license plate number. Another officer cut me off from explaining because he had someone in the back "if you have a problem just call dispatch, thank you".
