★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cadet core is a social group for the adults. It does a lot of activities for the cadets and demands a lot of volunteer hours for the parents. If you are in on group you get thanked for your time. If not they expect upwords of 40 hours volunteer time and they won't even give you a thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No words. It is absolutely fantastic. I personally know an athlete, a biathlete, who competed with her partner on the provincial team at Val Cartier for cadet biathlon. It was her first year ever on skies. If it weren't for this unit, she wouldn't have been able to achieve such a large milestone in her unit and for herself. Biathlon is now one of her signature sports. Not only that, the unit allowed her to participate in all the extra curricular's the unit has to offer, allowing her to get the most out of the army cadet program. She is a dedicated cadet, and if it weren't for such an amazing cadet unit, I wouldn't have been able to know her through biathlon. She is now the biggest part of my life.
It isn't just her. The entire unit has potential. The people in it just have to open their eyes and make the most out of their youth in cadets.
