About Roy E Link Professional Corp
Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Roy Link received his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Alberta in 1974. After one year of graduate studies in the Philosophy Department, he enrolled in the Faculty of Law, receiving his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta in 1978.
Mr. Link articled with the Law firm of MacLean, Wiedemann & Co. of Medicine Hat, and he enrolled in the Law Society of Alberta in 1979. He joined the Law firm of Biddell, Fisher & Link as a partner in 1979. In 1993, Mr. Link started his own practice, which he continues today under the name Roy E. Link Law Office. He operates a general practice representing numerous corporate and commercial clients in the Medicine Hat area. Mr. Link has been a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and is active as a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
Roy Link’s outside interests have included the position of Director of the Medicine Hat Overture Concert Association; President, Co-founder, and Artistic Director of the Medicine Hat Jazz Society; Vice-President and Co-Founder of the Friends of the Medicine Hat Conservatory Society; and Moderator - Citizens’ Forum on Canada’s Future.
