Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

We had Daniel come to our house today. He was very professional. He left the house clean. He really made sure he did not do any damage to our newly installed stairs. He had great manners!! And on top of that he was able to solve our blockage problem. If I ever needed a good worker, I would hire him. Roto rooter is very lucky to have him. It is hard to find good help. Thank you for the great professional job!!

Technician persisted for 50 mins to clear a clogged pipe with two industrial augers. He did a great job. We will monitor the pipes here, hopefully we dont have another blockage - it started in March and Landlord C. Zhang refused to fix it. We face eviction due to Landlords refusal to do any repairs or maintenance.

Came out and replaced the mixer valve on my hot water tank. Could have done it myself but the stores didn't have the one I had in stock, and I'm not soldering on a new one. These guys had what I needed and were out in less than 45 minutes. Hot showers, here I come.

UNBELIEVABLE!! I called yesterday about a plumbing leak at my rental, gave details on what was happening, and they told me to call back today. I called back today and they booked it, only to have him arrive, spend a couple of minutes, and then tell me to call back next week so they'll actually fix it; he apparently had emergency jobs to do and mine didn't qualify. Why accept a job at "emergency rates" and bill me accordingly, then refuse to do the work because you have better things to do? Apparently a leaky tub overflow is a two-man job "for safety reasons" and it was my job to tell them the exact problem so they knew what to do... somehow I believed that plumbers were better at that than I am, plus I gave the details the first time. When I asked Ian, the technician, why they would jerk me and my tenants around then not do the work, he simply said that's how they do things and blamed it on miscommunication at the office. When I talked to Cindy in the office, she said she had no control over the person I spoke to yesterday and it's not her problem that I didn't tell her the same details I gave yesterday. She also said that mentioning "emergency rates" (which she didn't) should automatically mean that they don't fix non-emergency problems so it was my lack of understanding that was at fault. She told me to call again Monday so that 1) they'll book an actual repair, and 2) talk to someone else since there was nothing she could do to address the issue. If I don't call on Monday, then I will be billed for today's emergency service call even though they refused to do anything. I can't wait to call for the third time and see how they pass the buck this time; if you have any option and don't like being rudely screwed over, skip Roto-Rooter.

Highly Recommend!! Same day service. Techs name was Andrew and he was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Wouldn't think twice about using them again. I hope they value Andrew for many years to come.
