That is why we have collaborated with numerous other agencies and organizations in our community to achieve this.

We are working towards every door being the right door for individuals living in poverty and we have started the process of providing services to our client’s right inside the food bank. As a collective, our volunteers believe and display to our clients that when action meets compassion lives change. We are so proud of all of our volunteers that give of their time. They are the true heroes in our organization.

We believe in treating all people with compassion and dignity and through that we hope to reach people and help them to create meaningful change in their lives which will reflect on our community.

(Exaggerated negative reviews of FREE services should not be allowed. They are usually written by ungrateful, entitled people with ridiculous expectations, that think the world owes them a favor. They lash out at anyone they can, which discourages others who need and appreciate it)

I have yet to reserve anything that I haven't been hesitant to even cook and more times then I'd like after I have finished cooking I still throw it out. This is wrong!!! If this isn't known it needs to be, and if it is known and being ignored then shame on every single supporter of this program. "Baggers can't be choosers"? No "Richer get richer and the poorer get ill"

Not only do they provide one of the most essential things in life to those who need it most but they also help immensely in reducing food waste. So much food gets thrown out because it's "not good enough for the supermarket" while it's perfectly edible, all the while people are starving. TLDR the food bank is one of the most important things to society and they don't get the credit they deserve. There's nothing shameful about going there, it's empowering.

The staff and volunteers that contribute to the operation of this facility are some of the nicest and friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They work hard to ensure that everyone who needs help receives it. The Medicine Hat Food Bank is integral to this community and deserve all the contributions made to them. Our city is very fortunate to have such an exceptional organization.
