★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience this morning. I had to deal with a woman who was very rude at the counter. She gave impressive attitude, rolled her eyes and ignored me as I was paying. Didn’t ask if I needed a bag, turned her back when I said Merci . It appeared, The only reason for this childish attitude and such animosity was because I am English.
Leave the prejudice at the door when you arrive a work. It’s the 21st century. Cut the eye rolls, snickers and horrible costumer service because of the language I speak. It’s unacceptable.
No, I’m not from Quebec I’m from another province in Our country and yet I certainly try to speak French the best I can.
Will you deny me appropriate service because I didn’t grown up in a small town in this province? Because my French isn’t Québécois French? Let me ask you, who is being reactive in this situation? who is trying to treat another as an inferior because of where they are from? It’s not right Rona. It’s not right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is well maintained and they have the proper sanitary setup in response to the current pandemic.
My poor review stems from several experiences, over the last couple years, with associates who were quite rude when I asked basic questions or during the checkout process.
These repetitive negative experiences force me to drive to Home Depot in St Jerome - which is an extra 20 minutes each way - when I need to engage with an associate.
Hopefully I’ll be positively surprised one day, but in the meantime, it’s a 2-star review I’m afraid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Store is a great local hardware store, not to big not too small, has a cozy feel not like a big box hardware store. Only one trip so far so will be returning a lot now that I own a local chalet! I’ll reserve a 5 for a few more visits!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Note that this is an independent Rona, so there prices are not always inline with Rona's. Also they would not do price matching. This store is very convenient for the area and always seen to have what I need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good employees, helpful and knowledgeable. Always compare with Patrick Morin and Canac, the prices can be a bit high sometimes. Especially if you are buying for new construction. Other suppliers may be more negotiable.
