F	Fishire Yin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drove there by mistake. The road is very tough for lower chassis cars. I saw many people driving their Mountain motorcycle on the beach. It’s interesting!
H	Hannah Webb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, well maintained site. Friendly hosts, clean outhouses. The sites are large and private, with picnic tables and fire pits. Cheap wood for sale by the hosts. Stave lake is beautiful and great for swimming. There are some lovely waterfalls and pools to swim in roughly 1km from the main sites. Nice hikes nearby. Will definitely go again!
R	R F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fyi: there is no cell signal regardless of that the Rogers or Telus service maps show you. Also, the road getting there is absolutely horrible. Not steep, but the worst pot holes that you'll ever come across. Do not attempt in your Civic w/ nice rims.
T	Tapper Kool on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like driving, biking or quading in the bush and in the mud, then Yee Haw. Limited washrooms, but at least they were there. Charged $36 for day use of the picnic table and fire pit. Free if ya head out onto the flats, but you'll need a truck
M	Mar tin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The environment around here is beautiful, starry nights and nice hikes and waterfalls. I still don't recommend going here unless you are looking to ride dirt bikes and ATVs all day. It's all you will hear from 8am-10pm, people don't respect the speed limits set by the rec site, and they're not enforced. The Rec site seems to have issues with their booking system, which resulted in multiple payments for the same camp site, despite having confirmations. Lots of burnt trash on the beaches/mud flats. The ground staff was nice regardless. TLDR go here if nature is your race track? ??
H	Heidi Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful site. Lovely views. Some sites can be reserved, others are first come, first serve. Great spot for boats, jet skis and kayaking. There are no quads or dirt bikes allowed on the flats by the site during camping season. The hosts and peace officers are constantly trying to enforce it. (That would make me loopy doing that day in and day out)
L	Liz Moran on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spots, cheap, beautiful view. One issue, it's the entrance to an atv, dirt bike beach. So be prepared for lots of revving and noise. Second issue: too many pot holes at beginning of gravel road, not bad in middle of 11 km drive and then again inside camping park. Go slow
T	Trish on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had double site # 15. It was good. The only downfall was the guy's couldn't ride their dirt bikes bc of the fire ban and possible sparks coming off the bikes. Other than that, it was good. We love Stave lake. We've camped their 3 time's this year.
