They reached out to me with a job description that fit my LinkedIn profile and within a week, I had the first and second interviews and a new job at a well established Canadian company. I have been looking for work without a recruiter for 8 months during this pandemic and it’s been super challenging. The whole experience was amazing! I was so shocked by how quickly my recruiter was able to find me a job. I was currently working full time but wanted more of a work life balance and to pursue my HR career goals so I decided to use Robert Half. I submitted my resume on the Robert Half Website and got a call from a recruiter 2 weeks later. Brennan Kirby is the name of the recruiter that contacted me. He is amazing. He called me to let me know that he would love for me to come in for an interview. I came in for an interview which lasted about an hour. Brennan was super kind and cheerful and seemed determined to help me. The interview was super relaxed and I felt comfortable because I could tell Brennan was determined to find a job for me. Brennan told me he would try and find a job for me by the end of the summer but ended up sending me a job posting a week later. He told me to take a look at the posting and asked me to decide if I was interested. The interviews for the position were happening the following week and if I was interested he said he would make sure to reserve a spot for me. I interviewed for this particular admin position that next week (Thursday) and made it to the final interview the following day (Friday). Brennan called me to let me know I got the position the following Monday. I was thrilled! I couldn't believe I got a new job so quickly. I thought the process would take months but I got a new job in a few weeks. I'm sure the process won't be that quick for everyone but if you are looking for work, you should definitely give Robert Half a shot and see if they can help you. Toronto is a big city and it is hard to get a good job if you don't know people. Robert Half allowed me to get my foot in the door at a reputable company and I now get the work life balance that I want. I just wish I submitted my resume months ago. I will forever be grateful to this company for giving me an opportunity to work in Canada as soon as I landed from Australia. Robert Half is a great company for people who are either new immigrants or new graduates who needed Canadian experience to get their foot in the door. They will also strive to find you a permanent position. They were very organized, supportive, friendly and helpful. The pay is good and always on time. Their mobile app is user friendly and very convenient. I never ran out of jobs after one contract ends. All in all a great working experience and I highly recommend them.
