Je recommande fortement cette agence de location!! Le propriétaire est d'une gentillesse inouïe, aux petits soins tout du long. Le van est complet et performant, que dire de plus ne serait-ce que foncez?!
I highly recommend this rental agency !! The owner is incredibly kind, very caring throughout. The van is complete and efficient, what more can we say if only go for it ?!

After seeing various ratings of Roam Free Campers, I see it in my responsibility to share our experience with this company as well. I absolutely condemn any form of "internet rant" against someone and this rating will be as fair as possible. The rather professional internet appearance of roam free camper was sort of a misconception. The rental process worked perfectly fine until we arrived as planned at the companies headquarter at Whistler. We met one of the crews members and he was very friendly but seemed to be in a hurry and didn't have much time to provide us with information to the car. After getting a very brief introduction, we checked the car: The car we received seemed enormously worn out... there were a lot of dents and scratches all over it. If we wouldn't have insisted to write up those damages (like I was used to do at a every "car rental place") we would've received a rental contract without any markings and notes on it... The inside of the car seemed fine. After that we got sent on our way... with a nearly empty tank of fuel (he told us to bring it back as empty as we received it...that's fair!). The car (2008 model) had an impressive 298'000 KM! And that's about how it felt to drive it... the brakes were worn out to a daunting state and kept on knocking heavily while using them. We absolutely didn't feel safe from start on. (At this point we should've returned the car...) At the first camping we tried cooking using the provided gas burner. Sadly the isolation of the burner was so damaged, it leaked everywhere! We had to buy extra parts so we wouldn't start a fire somewhere in the middle of nowhere... Nearly all of the pots and cuttlery we received were oily and dirty and probably never cleaned since the last rental. The provided cushions and bedding smelt like they had been stored for weeks in the inside of the car or like they weren't washed at all since the last use. We are pretty sure the car was immediately rented to us, after someone else returned it. After driving for a few days the car started smoking from the rear wheel. We contacted Roam Free Campers and received assistance very fast! Sadly the damage had to be inspected in a garage so we got towed away.. The diagnosis of the garage: Completely rusted emergency brake cables.. and the brake was stuck on the wheel. So they just disabled the brake completely. After losing one day we continued our travels. From then on the orange engine light started to flash.. which could be anything though.. So we got told to ignore it. Except of a broken front light (which kinda melted into the socket for some reason... no idea...) we experienced nothing bad anymore. But the rest of out travel we were really unsure if the car just breaks down in the middle of icefield parkway...which was kinda sad! After telling the various garage owners we've met what we've paid for this rentalcar, we got laughed at... After delivering the car back to its rightful owner (which was absent the day we arrived) we informed them about the state of this car.. We got told that they replace the brakes after every rental, which is probably a lie. They listened carefully but I kinda doubt that there will be any changes to this car. I hope they just dumped it.. otherwise it would be heavily irresponsible. Please improve the quality of your services... I don't need much.. but after paying such a ridiculous amount of money, the least I expect are washed cushions to sleep on.. But still, Canada especially British Columbia was a wonderful experience! And even if the car was a wreck, we had a beautiful time.

We had a great time in our Roam free camper van. Rory was a pleasure to deal with and was very understanding and helpful with issues we had with regards to returning the car and collection. The van was very comfortable and ideal for our trip around Vancouver Island.

Everything was on point! Matt and Bruna took care of us and were very attentive. We felt like VIP :) The van is very nice and easy to drive. The conversion makes it comfortable to sleep in. Mattress is just perfect (soft and firm). Equipment provided is all you need (kitchen stuff, table, chairs). We strongly recommend!
