Nice quiet campground...not many activities on-site: outdoor pool, mini golf, mini aviary - but a pleasant campground nonetheless. Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill not too far of a drive / bike ride. This campground/motel is part of the Niagara Recreation Trail/bike trail. We certainly always enjoy our stay - and will keep returning!

Terrible customer service. Beware of the old switch-a-roo We booked 4 sites for a total of 9 family members (all over 50) for 10 days, 4 months in advance, @$2400 total cost. I called 4 days ahead of our arrival and were given 4 site numbers that were together, which we felt we could arrange ourselves to our liking. Very happy so far, right?. Upon arrival, we were give 3 of the 4 sites originally assigned, the 4th, (currently vacant site) assigned to the 3 seniors in our group, were moved to a muddy site halfway across the campground, down a hill, behind the washroom building. The nice young lady at the desk remembered our conversation and apologized. We asked for the manager. Soon after, the manager showed up and gave us some bulls#it story about having to rearrange booking due a storm that occurred a week earlier. She refused to accommodate, alls we were asked was to have our sites as previously assigned. . Not a pleasant experience, completely ruining a much anticipated post-covid family reunion. Post-stay review. Positives.... Most sites were adequate, reasonable sized, level, grassy and somewhat shaded, a few were a muddy mess, but they seem to be working on it. Pool was nice. Washrooms clean. Sites were diligently checked and mowed as they were vacated. The young staff were friendly and helpful. Nice area for biking or walking along the river. The not-so-positives.... Water pressure on sites were very low, we had to fill our fresh tank and use the pump to get consistent water pressure, washroom water pressure was also very low, showers were at times little more than a dribble. Power was inconsistent, my bulldog monitor was constantly showing an alarm, it never showed more than 117 volts and went as low as 107. Water lines on some sites had been dug up and not refilled, leaving large dangerous holes (we placed a picnic table over it after one of the seniors about fell into it). The dump station if right out side the washroom door, can get pretty ripe in the area. Oh ya, the manager/owner....we'll just leave that one alone. In the end, we tried to make the best of our reunion/vacation, cut it a day short, never to return.

Camp sites to close too each other camping with tents no privacy at all, not much shaded, our family stayed for four nights, when booked for reservation we didn’t know what the camp sites looked liked at all not until after paid $262.15, four nights our arrival was very disappointed, campsite 83, a young man working for owner he said there was an complaint about our two dogs barking making noises and this was during the day time at noon and there was other dogs too barking I heard and I also heard barking dogs at house behind camp site and there was signs beware of a dogs on the wooded fence near camp site 86 all around the wooded fenced I see two houses one on the property and one not on the property behind the camping sites, experience of our stay loud music screaming yelling too each other like someone is fighting, it’s not my business what people do but we didn’t liked the very loud music and screaming yelling all the loud noises and people across from us near us kept staring at us we didn’t felt comfortable there campsite was too close from us there was no privacy at all. the loud music from camp site near us I thought reading there website is a pet friendly park.

Mid September stay held quiet, mature campers (peaceful retreat!). Located on the river with beautiful bicycling/walking trails. Laundry and washrooms on site. Few motel rooms on site as well but we camped. Pool, small park for the kids and mini golf Short drive to town and the falls.

Several days after making a reservation we were sent by email a form to sign absolving this business of any accountability for our personal well being or the safety of any of our belongings. It seems they are more concerned about being sued then they are about providing a safe and comfortable place to stay. We refused to sign and cancelled our reservation. We found another campground a short distance away where we felt welcomed.

My husband and I have been to this campground twice now. I cannot express how nice this campground is. The staff are amazing. The young people that work there are so polite and helpful. Amazing staff. The check in is easy, the campground amenities are spotless. The washrooms are clean and spotless all the time. The place is nice and quiet. Great place to camp. If you like to walk, you can enjoy the beautiful views along the Niagara River Walkway. I saw for the very first time ever a Bald Eagle in the trees along the trail. At night you will see fireflies around your campfire. This will be my go to place often. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We had a great time.

Pros: Friendly staff and our family enjoyed the pool it was beautiful and very clean. The sites for RVs and tents had a lot of space to set things up and the horses nearby is nice. Everything is pretty clean. I did receive toiletries in my motel room which was good. Cons: No grab bars in the public showers for those who are disabled or elderly. Motel rooms are ok but the plumbing is not the best the toilet would only flush once and a while. Also the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Overall our family would likely return again because the overall experience was good and we had a good time. Leaving tomorrow morning and it will be a good weekend to remember. :)

Lovely park, loving the little motel in the park, lots of trees and a river right across the street. Clean bathrooms with big showers, definitely not cramped like the other parks.
