Riverdale Park has a small upper and a big lower section that offer much space. In the upper part, you can admire some sculptures, sit on a few benches or visit the nearby farm. In the lower part, you can play baseball, play with your dog or start a little hike along the Don River. This is certainly one of Toronto's most beautiful parks and worth a detour and visit.

This is a nice free farm to visit , it is not big but enough for a nice day , also there is a splash for your kids . you should go early because can be a long line to get it.

Amazing Scenic views of the city. Good park to walk around and take your dogs. Lots of space to spread yourself from other people.

Riverdale Park during spring, summer, fall can be one of the most peaceful relaxing areas of Cabbagetown. Not the largest of any parks but it's age of tree canopy makes it one of the nicest areas to just walk through, stop and enjoy one of the many benches. We would spend many days picking out takeout and relaxing with breakfast or lunch in the park and then a walk around the area. Evenings included a walk with our dog after dinner through Riverdale Park. Many families enjoy the local water pad to cool off in the summer. The local Farmers market is held every week on Tuesday at the entrance where fresh vegetables and specialties are sold like home made honey. The gardens are all well kept each years and an added attraction to the entrance. Not much parking available but many come into the park area on foot or bikes. Great spot for children and families. To the North of the park is Toronto Necropolis Cemetery. To the South is Riverdale Farm and also the entrance to Riverdale Park West. You can view much of the Farm through park fences. Looking over towards Riverdale Park East much of that area can be seen and amazing sunsets. Towards the Riverdale Farm you can take one of three trails that wind down through areas that used to be the Historic Riverdale Zoo from the 1800's to 1974.

Riverdale Park is located east of Toronto with a rich history starting late 18th century. This park has two sides separated by a foot over bridge. It also has a farm to visit. Great place to have a walk or just enjoy the evening with friends and family. Fabulous view of downtown. It is a huge park with lots of activities to do.

Huge park with great view of the Toronto skyline especially at sunset! There’s a baseball and track field and plenty of extra space if you want to play sports. One issue is that there are not a lot of trees for shade if it’s super sunny and hot and the shaded picnic areas are on a slant
