Dana really understands the biomechanics of the human body, how it moves and how it works. She's also very knowledgeable and skilled with kettle-bells and her mobility exercises are very effective. She will help you work on anything fitness/exercise related. Great trainer. I've also met the owner Bobby who is very friendly (also the purple belt instructor whose name I forget). Great homey environment.

Peter's comprehensive understanding of many different disciplines of the martial arts, combined with his endless patience and commitment to his students make this a top-notch dojo. I started out with a trial class and I've been coming ever since. Through my training I've gained confidence, skill, physical fitness, and it's been a lot of fun.

Both the adult and kids classes are run by highly skilled and knowledgeable coaches to help you on your way. The students and coaches are friendly and inviting making it a very tight knit community.

Although I wasn't interested in the judo and jujitsu they are primarily known for, Bobby, the owner, accommodated my interest in getting fit and I ended up taking Dana's Strength and Conditioning classes and got hooked. I renewed my membership and then continued with private training sessions. I am the strongest I have ever been and feel and look pretty great (never thought I'd feel like this as a woman in my 40s with three kids). Dana is motivating and a fantastic teacher and trainer - she fine tunes and gives great prompts to assist with form and make sure the exercises are done properly and safely. In addition, my kids have trialed the jujitsu and gymnastics classes and loved them but couldn't continue due to their other activities, but from what I observed, Bobby is a knowledgeable, patient, and fun teacher. I highly recommend you or your kids try this dojo out for three months. Would be surprised if you or they aren't hooked like I was.

If you want to learn some BJJ or judo, you should train here (no slight to Toronto BJJ, you should probably train there too). Mike Zaniewski is the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu coach in the city of Toronto, bar none. He has the rare gift of being able to dumb down the most complex movements to their constituent parts and convey these on a basic level. I've never trained with Bobby Currie as he runs the standup section and this is drastically beyond my capacity to attempt, but he's got a stupendous pedigree and appears to know what he's talking about.
