Riverdale is one of Edmonton’s most picturesque communities. It is a diverse river valley neighbourhood located just east of Edmonton’s downtown center. The community is bordered by the North Saskatchewan River and surrounded by the cliffs of the river valley. Because of this location Riverdale remains distinct and retains its identity as a separate and unified community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somewhat dated building (could use some renos to refresh the building) but very clean and I love the historical photos on the wall. Riverdale is a beautiful community on the edge of Downtown Edmonton. This is a fantastic location for any event. Central yet really green. There's a park right next to it that is great in the summer months for the kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time here. Place has good amenities. Had about 100 people here. Was spacious enough for event. Lacks a kitchen and could use abit of maintenance in bathrooms. But otherwise needs were met. Court yard is nice touch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say? We love our community league. The building is great for larger functions. Amazing space in the summer with the park, spray park and skate park, as well as the outdoor stage and patio. Winter boasts a skating rink, sledding hill and fire pit.
Riverdale is proud to share treaty six land and is home to a tipi for ceremony and gatherings in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a family reunion in the hockey shack, and it was perfect. The facility was very clean, and very well stocked with dishes and serving plates. The playground and large grassed areas make it an ideal facility for children. The cost for the facility is more than reasonable. Thanks to the many volunteers who make this possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is good for children. It's not a bad atmosphere and I like that they offer skating in winter. The parking is reasonable and they have grass which is nice. Skating tends to go better when you have a helmet and skates but overall I enjoyed seeing the activity of the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've always loved Riverdale, but this park could use a little love/ upgrade.
When we were there this summer, one of the old structures had been taken out but all of the wiring and what looked like maybe rebar were sticking out of the ground, not cordoned off with any sort of safety measures. Couple weeks later there was fencing around it, but still the park has definitely seen better days. We love the community though and the ample parking is always great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This community league with the park next to it is a wonderful place tucked away in an out of the way place. It’s a hidden gem that is nice to visit. There is a nice community building that can host a number of different events. In the winter there is a great skating rink to use. In the summer a wonderful community garden that many use. As part of the larger park area it has many uses. There is a playground and spray park for the children. There are some picnic benches also. It’s not a huge area but well thought out and put together and right next to the North Saskatchewan River. I have come here many times over the years and have always enjoyed the park and community facilities.
