The lady working there said that there was no one there to price it until later and that they would call me in the afternoon with a price. She put a hold Tag on the desk & I asked if I could put money down to hold it, answer was no. I then make arrangements for someone to pick up the desk on Saturday. No phone call, so Saturday morning I call and to which they informed me that I could not get the desk for the 40 % off because that was yesterday. Bad business ! You lost me as a customer “

Everyone there are such lovely human beings, and they are also the best darn thrift store in all of Maple Ridge and the surrounding area!

Don't expect a find every visit because it is well known and in a vibrant community, but still worth a look. And staff make the effort to keep it very clean and well organized. The stock does change often and that makes it worth a regular visit.

To me it's not a thrift store when it wants 300$ for a used couch. It is a great bunch of people but thrift stores are for people with very little too and I do not have even one friend who could afford $300 for a couch or a dresser and yes the money goes to a good cause but the name really should be changed from thrift store . I have been shopping in them all my life and never seen prices like this anywhere. I bought two items last year supposed to be brand new in the box a crockpot I used three times and now only works on high $15 A blender I used three times and then would not turn on again. $30 Sorry but those items were not brand new and that upsets me . So I only go there maybe once a month if that.

Do we really need the on the minute countdown on loud speaker and in our faces from 15 minutes out? Can we compromise for maybe 2? I can only make it here near closing and really want to support small but if I can't shop in peace for 25 minutes I will go elsewhere and will no longer recommend your store. Other than that, great selection and fair pricing. Lots of excellent finds, especially vintage.
