★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last May 2021 we hired RGO Canmore to install our vinyl plank flooring in our kitchen/dining room reno. They had come highly recommended so we did not even shop around. Craig, the installer, did what we thought was a decent job. Within a few months we noticed that the planks were starting to separate and the nosing on the stair down into the living room was loosening. We thought we'd give it some more time but in January 2022 I sent Jim, the store manager/owner, an email with pictures of our concerns. We were wanting someone to come to the house to see what was happening. I made a few follow-up calls before Jim said he had passed it on to Craig and that he should be calling us. In one call Jim even asked what we had done to the floor! Well, here it is May and we have not heard from Craig or Jim. RGO's customer service is awful. We had ordered enough flooring last May to get the living room done this spring. We paid for leveler and glue at that time for the whole job, but Craig had taken the remainder with him. We got someone else to lay the planking in the living room. Our intent was to use RGO for all our bedroom carpeting and kitchen backsplash needs, but we'll definitely be going elsewhere. At minimum, Jim should have followed up to see if Craig had called and resolved our issues. We have not been recommending RGO Canmore to anyone, if asked.
