From the initial contact with Joel at Retro or Die, the communication was stellar. Any and all of my questions about the purchase of a two player RetroCade were answered in a detailed and prompt manner. The RetroCade itself is a wonderful way to spend your covid isolation nights, reliving your childhood arcade and gaming days with the 5000 on-board titles. Highly recommend Retro or Die. Thanks Joel!

I bought one or their desk top arcades cause it had 5,000 games on it.. On their Facebook page it showed that the game Simpsons was been played on this machine which is one of the games I was hoping it had and it doesn’t so that’s false advertising.. When I got the machine it was very well packaged and I was very impressed with how it looked and was built, however noticed it didn’t come with a manual and according to Retro Or Die they say that it’s a plug and play arcade.. Well I can tell you yes that’s kinda true.. but I’ve noticed that all of the games are set to a very low volume, the buttons are most of the time are in the wrong place for easy game play.. Having to adjust this everyone you play a game is really a pain.. After contacting Retro Or Die about 20 times to help me change the button layout the info they sent me was very difficult to understand and pointless, it seems to change button layout or to add games to the machine is a very difficult process. The 5,000 games list is ok however is missing a lot of awesome games from that list that were big in the 80s 90s and 2000s so it’s a little disappointing. I noticed that some games have no sound at all and can’t be fixed, some games when playing just shutdown during game play.. You would think that Retro Or Die would have made sure or only download games that are working well to the system. I’ve also noticed that every tho my arcade is a 2 player most of the 2 player games are only played in the player 1 side so you have to keep getting out of the way so player 2 can play with your controls making that really a pain. Overall tho for the price it’s ok and still fun but it’s not what I was expecting and this is why I have to give a 2 star.. .

Bought a BeerCade from them about a year ago for my Mancave. Got custom graphic designed to match my room. It was a long wait but I think it's worth it. All the games work and the beer fridge is pretty big and cold. I windup referring my brother in law to get one too

Got one of their virtual pinballs to try tables and test out play before I committed to buying the real thing. There is a minor delay compared to real pins but it’s minor and I adjusted to compensate after a couple balls. Comes loaded with most of the classics and some FX tables. Good if your looking to try before you commit to buying a pin (that’s how I use it).

Bought a RetroBox. Solid heavy box, looks and feels like a control panel of an arcade machine. Haven’t connected a Bluetooth controller yet but console games all play fine so far. Very satisfied so far.

Bought a retrobox, plugged it in and it worked right out the box. HDMI cable is a bit short. Controls for arcade games worked perfect, consoles were a bit harder to control with joystick but they say its bluetooth compatible so will try out connecting ps3 controller for console games

Searched across the country from Quebec to Vancouver for a balanced quality arcade machine. Ital Arcades in Quebec: Beautiful machines and game options but no shipping. London Ontario has a private builder with great prices and machines but no shipping experience. Purchased my own arcade in Edmonton at a location with great reviews but again slightly expensive, fair quality and shipping avail, but poor game list options....Retro or Die Arcade....Flexible experienced shipping and prices, 5000-10k games list, custom built machines matching past models and prices,,, After communications with FB rep online I couldn’t believe the effort to satisfy and readiness to out price, out game and out build all the other arcade manufacturers. Can’t wait to purchase my next family addition....

I absolutely love these guys! You get so many games for your $ and all those good fun ones from back in the day when you were a kid. It really brings back that "fun giddy feeling" ??? I just got one of their retro boxes as a gift for a couple who are self isolating and they are over the moon excited about it! Bringing back something old... as something new that they can both bond over and have fun with. Even for someone who isn't necessarily a gamer... it can spark a lot of joy... those good games from back in the day. These guys also have great customer service, which I really like and appreciate.
