★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pompette is fun, Pompette is French. Very very French in the best of ways. What I love are some of the classic dishes they have. Slightly tweaked but still such homage to the past. The room is fabulous with such a cozy feel. The patio is huge for summer fun. Service is great, staff are friendly but professional. I also love the seasonality of dishes with great love of Ontario products.
This is a restaurant I will return to over and over again. Also, do start at Bar Pompette and walk 4 shops back here or go the other way for a late night drink.

Uncomplicated brilliant food and excellent wine, helmed by the finest people for whom great food is everything and now everyone knows it. Absolutely not to be missed. Hot Tip - homemade sourdough. Hot Tip 2....Bar Pompette a few doors down...one of the most beautiful hidden patios anywhere. 6 Stars..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elegantly presented, superb French food! We started with BC Morels, then the Duck Breast/Confit and the Halibut. Both were deliciously cooked and very tasty. And then an amazing millefeuille for dessert. Bustling atmosphere - not recommended for a quiet getaway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and the drinks were absolutely impeccable. The owners are top level chef, bartender and sommelier from France.
The skate wing was amazing. And we tried all the cocktails on the menu, every single one is full of aroma and complexity. My favourite was the aiguenoire and the not so hot chilli pepper. Just wonderful to have such an exquisite french restaurant in Toronto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely incredible... my mouth is still watering at the thought of Pompette. Our favorite meal was the gnocchi with snails (everything was amazing, but this was the standout), which was probably one of the best meals I've ever had. Five Stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant menu, friendly staff, true craftmanship! Can't pick which one was our favourite but the vol au vent was definitely the most pleasant surprise. Lovely little restaurant and just can't wait to go back in summer when new menu will be released!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beef Wellington was amazing! The cauliflower salmon roe tart was also really good. When they say that the portion serves two, believe them. I didn’t and ended up overeating. No complaints though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem ! We went there without expectations but were happily surprised. We appreciated how complex and balanced the dishes were. You could still taste all the extra flavours of the vinaigrette without it overwhelming the original flavour of the leeks for example. The service was impeccable and attentive. The wine advices helped us pick a Riesling up that fit our palate and budget. Coming from France it feels like coming home for a night ???
