Disappointing. Read the great reviews and thought it'd be a win. Atmosphere was great. However the food was overpriced for what you get. The bread they serve as a $4 appetizer should be complimentary, not 4 pieces of a baguette. Either provide it complimentary or provide artisan bread for $5-$6. The ravioli smelled horrible, like strong tap water. Fish was good. Small wine glass portions for the price, at $19+ per glass you'd expect a nice 9oz glass, but instead you get 6oz per serving. In the end they have potential, if only they could fine tune a few things...

Delightful meal. We felt like we were dining with friends - friends who are industry professionals that is. Unique cocktails, small but carefully curated wine by the glass selection, and, most importantly, delicious food. We enjoyed it so much we made a reservation for another meal before we left!

Food and service was great, and a nice atmosphere in the restaurant as well. Servers were very friendly and helpful, prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, they had some tables inside as well as a patio outside by the street like most restaurants in the area. The seabass was great! Parking in the neighborhood can be difficult in the evening, but there's an indoor lot a few blocks away if street parking is full. Thanks for the great dinner! Definitely recommend this place for some nice Italian dishes.

I was so happy that I get to be seated quickly and I had lunch with my boyfriend on Sunday. The food was so fresh and everything cooked beautifully. The staffs are super friendly. I highly recommend it.

Came here for the first time for my birthday dinner on a Sunday evening- it's a small restaurant and nice that it wasn't busy when we went, allowing for quiet conversation. We ordered: Antipasto Polpette Focaccia Margherita Spaghetti alla Carbonara Manzo Tiramisu Had my favourite carbonara (I am not big on spice and it was a little too much black pepper for me) and discovered a new love for mortadella, cured beef and specialty focaccia! The Polpette was very tender and a nice touch to be served in the broth. The Manzo was nothing special but still good.

Fantastic experience! We had a wonderful tasting menu on Valentine’s Day. Cozy vibe, tasty food (the lobster pasta is amazing), and memorable evening. Highly recommend!

Great ambience and the cocktails were terrific. Ordered the tagliatelle ragu and broccolini risotto which were also really good. Would suggest that the bread be complimentary and the menu be expanded ever so slightly. Prices were fair for the amount and quality of food. Service really stood out as we were attended to by a rotation of three. They were also well-versed with the cocktail list and menu itself.

We came to Il Covo last month after making reservations. We were seated on the patio and it was a nice vibe. The staff was friendly and overall we had a pretty good time. The bartender even made us some delicious mocktails, as we don’t drink. The food was tasty, albeit a bit on the pricey side for what you get. Also, it took us a very long time to get our food, so I had to run back to my car and put more money in the meter.
