This has always been my spot for years now, and now with the new revamp look. With Live music Friday nights and a Dj Saturday nights. It's the perfect spot to hang out grab some food, enjoy some drinks and have an amazing night. Amazing staff ? too.

Really good food and price! The pupusas are bigger that the ones I've had before in other restaurants; two is plenty enough for a meal! :)

As a joke, their tacos are great. Just look at the picture. Some shells, probably from a box of Old El Paso dinner kit, lettuce, a bit of tomato, and a small container with some sort of spaghetti meat-sauce with some potatoes in it. This is the taco version of a six-year old's lemonade stand. Oh, but the price is pretty grown up. $7 CAD for this??? We had a great laugh when my mother opened the styrofoam box (huge box) this came in and found this ridiculous "taco" in it. We enjoyed the laughter so much we decided not to get back inside and return this. If you feel like paying $7 for a few laughs, by all means, go to La Carreta, but if you want REAL tacos (for much less), just walk down the same block and go to Tacos Trunp.

I have to say the food is absolutely delicious! The presentation of the food makes it even more tasty! And the service is wonderful such a great atmosphere to have a bite to eat and not to mention the music really make you feel like your in a beautiful country eating the authentic food ! ?

One of the most important things about going to a restaurant for me, it’s the overall customer experience plus the quality of food. This restaurant is the worst in customer service, we were celebrating my parents anniversary and we were having a conversation we finished our meal ( as we always do) the waiter came like 5 times (it felt like he wanted us to leave) his attitude was inappropriate and it was until after we ordered more food for take out that he literally kicked us out saying the table was reserved, come to notice there were 4 other tables available. I will not go to this place again, my experience was poor and i will not recommend either.

Amazing food!!!!!! I would definitely recommend the pupusas, chicken tamal, enchilada, fried pork, and the refried beans were the best I have eaten here in Montreal. They also have their own little store in the back where they sell many latin products, ibcluding their own salsa. So tasty!

Fantastic vegetarian papusa! I’d recommend the flor de loroco & cheese (could be made vegan?). The yuca and plantain were perfectly fried, not greasy. I learned that you put the cabbage on top of the papusa, pour some tomato salsa on top and eat with a fork. Will be back soon!

I'm not kidding : best pupusas in town. I repeat, best pupusas in town. They are big, tasty, FRESH and their salsa is out of this world. Been there three times this year. Ps: choose pupusas and tamales over their breakfast options.
