★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn’t expected much from pho they have because it is not a specialized pho restaurant. Yet, I am still very disappointed with the so called “pho” they gave me:
NO herbs
NO thin sliced beef
NO lime
Soup tasted like the least effort given
As a side dish, I also ordered spring roll. It has a weird stink that indicates unfresh ingredient.
I have not try any other dishes, but from what I had, I would conclude that this restaurant is a westerner trap.
Sorry to friends who recommended Chez Lam to me...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good chicken and lemongrass soup. Ingredients are fresh and portions are generous. The interior of the restaurant looks very drab and dated so I mostly order takeout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a girls night out , it was our first time here and brought a bottle of red. We had the chicken Peanut butter With spinach dish (peanut butter flavour was faint and not over powering ) and the Beef red curi dish and the lemon grass Spicey shrimp soup and lemon grass spicey vegetable soup. To end it off with a suplimentary Birthday dessert, fried pineapple with honey . They were All delicious and Divine! The hosts were kind and helped us pick the dishes .
I would come back here in a heart beat!! When I paid the meal I couldn’t believe the deal on the price I paid, because the food is so amazingly tasteful !
Dress code is very Casual to none, but I totally dressed up and we had one of the best girls night !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food at reasonable price and good service. It’s always the same friendly family staff. Bring your own wine. The inside is kinda outdated but everything is clean. Funny thing the server will be topping your glass of water at every other slurp you take or so. You’ll never run out of water that’s for sure. Try their fried banana for desert it’s really good.
