Instead of making a new burger they just replaced det lettuce with a new piece... Not impressing.. But they were kind enough to give us a 15 % discount for all the trouble!
D	Danielle Neufeld on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say, in years past April Point has been a "go to" for taking out of town family for a dinner with a view. Unfortunately I can't say that anymore. Not only are you now paying for the water taxi to the restaurant, but the quality has gone drastically downhill. VERY long waits for not only the food, but the drinks as well. If it is going to take an hour and a half for food, it's a good idea to maybe see if the customer would like a refill of water or another round, not make them come find you after almost an hour to get another drink. Also, if the food is going to take that long, maybe make sure it's hot and fresh, not ice cold like the steak and lamb and polenta and everything else our party ordered. And if a table mentions to the apparent supervisor on staff that things aren't going well, maybe they should take over and make sure the customers leave happy when you are serving $29-50 meals. Won't be returning and will be taking family and friends somewhere else from now on

Call them up and they explain that they have the same phone number as their sister restaurant (Painter's Lodge) but the staff didn't think to ask when we called in to see which restraurant we wanted. Wasted an hour driving there from across Quadra to only find they are closed. Idiots. Food is decent though (but overpriced) so I'll give them 2 stars. Won;t bother again in future
S	Sandy Gammie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to go visit but not a whole lot of options on the menu and very expensive. The water taxi is no longer free since the new owners took over. It just adds to the already expensive meal. We used to bring all our company that came for a visit here but it now costs to much. If your lucky you might see some whales.

Too pricey to eat multiple days in a row (mains range from $27-50). There is a cafe close by with great food and coffee. Tap water is very soft. Just an FYI. Kayaking is amazing but the equipment is 'well used'. I would definitely recommend it though. Fun rustic weekend. Manage your expectations and you'll have a fun weekend.
R	Rick Fast on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our dishes were fabulous! The Salmon and the Cod were fresh and beautifully presented with fresh veggies. Maddy our server was friendly, and experienced. The sunset views from this restaurant are the best on Quadra Island ?. Yes I highly recommend it!
