★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Stewart Creek rest area, 24 km South of Nelson and about 6 km North of Ymir, is a worthwhile stop. Open seasonally, it has a pit toilet and picnic tables. A nice feature within this small rest area is the nearby waterfall.
A great place to get off the road for a few minutes, have lunch, stretch your legs!
