Mango roll cake: maybe I'm biased coming from a Chinese background but roll cakes are often super soft and fluffy, the cake texture was on the denser harder side. The cream was nice but heavy, so if you've ever had a st. Germain's mango cake it tastes like that... But heavier and not as good. For $23 I'd go for a st Germaine mango cake instead. It's still decent flavor profile but texture just subpar. 4/10
Matcha eclair: again cream is on the heavier side. Good thing is matcha is nice and strong. The eclair is crispy so it's ok. The combo of flavors fell flat for me. Like a thick matcha cream with a crispy biscuit. Not sure what the hype is about. Won't be getting it again 3/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love their rolls, love the financier, love the hojicha mochi, love the flan, and my very very favourite is their matcha mochi eclair!!! Best in town, with the different layers of texture, truly awesome. Happy that they finally have their own store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone is talking about their cake rolls but I don't have a chance to try them yet. However they have very nice mochi balls and other pastries. The treats all have an Asian twist and that balanced the overly sweet taste. I love this shop and I wish their business hour is longer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the innovative and fresh flavours! Mango Mochi was sublime. Roll cakes were fabulous—super soft and spongy. I loved the cream filling—rich and smooth. It’s pricey but worth the splurge. This bakery is definitely heaven for those with a sweet tooth. For those craving lighter and less sweet desserts, go somewhere else!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mochi are delicious for all flavors. Really soft chewy skin with nice creamy whipped cream filling. Highly recommend them. Save your money on the cake rolls. Looks beautiful but not worth the price. Tried the trio cake roll set. The cake is dry and dense and the filling is lackluster in flavor. The financier is just okay to be honest. The salted egg yolk one doesn’t have enough salted egg yolk flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best French bakery places I have ever been to. The desserts are well balanced, not too sweet, expertly baked. The Profiteroles are better than beta5 in my opinion. Next time I will try the Éclairs, but there will be a next time. A new favorite!
