★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take the kids for a ski lesson and/or start your ski. There is lots of room inside to warm up and there is a spot for kids to play. Also, the cafe has a good selection of warm drinks (coffee, tea, lattes, hot chocolate, etc.), as well as snacks and treats (soup, chili, sandwiches, cookies, brownies, etc.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually didn't go in as I saw a few people entering without masks. It may have been because of the cold and they may have put them on once inside, but i just went for the cross country skiing that day.
The place did look nice and clean. Will be back another time maybe

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How do you register for cross country ski classes for beginners? We want to try this and like the idea of lessons or a group experience since it's been a long time since I last skiied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The relais is a useful point of departure for the southern sectors of Gatineau Park. Many well groomed XC ski trails, both classic and skate-style are nearby, mostly through gentle to moderate terrain. The relais has a coffee shop, toilets, and equipment rental. On winter weekends, there is often an outdoor fire place surrounded by Algonquin (Adirondack) chairs. Winter fat-tire bike trails and snowshoe trails also originate here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time cross country skiing and it was an amazing experience. Staff were super friendly and assisted us with all of our concerns. Trails were maintained and safe!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained trail. This trail gets a little challenging at some elevations, I would say the difficulty would be moderate. As many others, we did get lost on the trail but thanks to multiple trails within the site, which connects back to the actual trail. For us, the detour was actually fun as the path got more challenging with the swamps and rocks compared to actual trail :). Only concern, at some points, the trail numbers are not spotted right at the turns. Instead, we have to walk a few meters into the path confirm the trail numbers. Doesn't matter much, but good to have them at the intersections.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such a great time! Arrived without reservations for the equipment we hoped to rent and not knowing how they operated and the person at the reception desk could have turned us away but instead he set us up with everything we needed to go skiing with our family of 4. I was so grateful! Thanks so much, the trails are amazingly groomed, the equipment to rent is gorgeous quality. Thanks again! We will definitely go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The renting experience was good overall. I rented a fat bike and made the reservation online. They asked for an ID and credit card to make a printed copy until we return the bike in same condition. Once returned make sure to ask them to shred the copy they made.
