★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided at the last minute to eat at the Tea Room because we had lots of time. The food was as good as any high end restaurant and the servers treated me as I expect to be treated in a high end restaurant. I don't remember what I had so maybe there is room for improvement there but I remember that it was OK for the money and the experience of eating at the Estate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was excited to see the ice cream shop was open upon arrival to Mackenzie estate. Went for a hike and came back to find them closing up. Asked them if they were able to serve me 15 mins after their closing time. They said their float had already left so I couldn’t buy anything so they gave us 2 ice creams for free!
