Regina Housing Authority provides a citizen-centered service through the administration of programs that support independence and self-sufficiency by providing housing and housing services to those most in need. Regina Housing Authority manages publicly funded social housing programs in Regina on behalf of the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.
The Social Housing Program is intended to serve those with low incomes. Priority is given to seniors, families with dependents, and individuals with disabilities. Placement into the housing program is based on priority of needs and the availability of suitable housing units. Regina Housing Authority uses program eligibility criteria to determine an applicant’s qualification for social housing and to determine which housing units may be suitable to your needs.
Our portfolio of properties includes a variety of housing options including senior high-rise buildings, senior low-rise buildings, detached dwellings, town houses, apartments, garden apartments and semi-detached units. Regina Housing Authority also manages properties specifically designed for individuals with a need for an accessible suite due to mobility restrictions.
A Life Lease program is designed for moderate income adults who are 55 years of age or older. This program offers security of tenure similar to home ownership.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my daughter (who has Special Needs) lived in a Townhouse for almost 13 years. My place was always exceptionally clean and looked after. I was quiet and never caused problems. However they continously harassed us. We had 15 Eviction notices and not 1 of them had any real reason. My rent was paid on time 90% of the time. Of course being low income there will be some kind of Crisis in 12 years. There was a couple months due to some funding for my daughter that I had trouble paying rent. However the majority of the Evictions were for things other than rent. The stress they caused to me was more then unfair. Never once did they try to offer help or even ask about my circumstances. It was just an immediate eviction. I found them to be very uncaring, cold and heartless. Not what any family needs to go through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I moved in one of their senior high rises things were alright until recently.ittle did I know the previous place told Regina Housing I was hitting people with my scooter, if I was why wasn't I charged? Please they said I was dirty. I have photos that tell another story. According to Housing I can't even take of myself and blame others for my problems. Hardly that at all. In the past several months they average one eviction every 6 weeks for various reasons or made life unbearable to live in their place. All senior buildings are anywhere from half empty to just over it even if the building directory says differently. I can prove it in the place I'm in now. I wish I never moved in. Several tenants have been forced out by the lies of staff. Several tenants need help due to their health, etc and Regina Housing refuses to do anything even to the ones who have fire regulations not being followed.
